The ad features a 'Blink and you might miss it' cameo by an ageless Cyndi leaving a store clutching her baguettes (Insert Obvious Joke Here) and muttering to herself. Very Cyndi. The ad is very stylish with fashions totally on trend for 2012,

Cyndi Lauper At The Grammys

Ding Dong! Cyndi stunned EVERYBODY last night (February 12th). as she arrived on the red carpet at the 2012 Grammy Awards at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Cyndi, who arrived with her beloved mom showed off her gorgeous figure and stunningly long legs in her Jean Paul Gaultier black blazer topped gown with thigh high slit. Her hair was as unique as always reminiscent of her look in 1989 . Looking at Cyndi's mother (Catrine Dominique) you can see that the 'looking young' gene runs in the family.

During interviews Cyndi spoke about writing the music for 'Kinky Boots', which is going into previews in Sept/Oct, then 2013 it will go to broadway, She also let slip that the publishers have been 'waiting' for her Autobiography which has to be finished by April " I'm calling it a Memoir because it sounds french" Joked Cyndi. Her long awaited reality show will start in April/May !

In 1989 The USP network produced a radio broadcast called 'The Cyndi Lauper Story', It charts Cyndi's success back as far as Blue Angel, The original transmission featured ALL Cyndi's hits with an intro to each song . The broadcast was also produced as a vinyl which is now incredibly rare and a must fot all collectors. Below I have created 2 videos due to copyright laws I have edited out the music.

When we caught up with Cyndi Lauper to discuss her Grammy-nominated blues album Memphis Blues, we had to get the queen of 1980s fashion's reaction to today's female pop stars, most of whom are indebted to the "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" singer's unique style. "Whatever gives you empowerment, that's what you should do," said Lauper in the video above. "And people should feel more individualistic. I think that's coming back [and] I'm very excited about that." In the video below, Lauper speaks on getting B.B. King on Memphis, her Christmas song with Norah Jones and getting a call from Harvey Fierstein to write for the musical "Kinky Boots." Girl's been busy.
